Water projects
Water shortage has always been a big problem in Kasigau. Many other problems, such as hinder from elephants and school absence, are also a result from the lack of water. Even though we have tried over the last years to solve this challenge, there are still areas in Kasigau where water is hard to access.
School uniforms and materials
We have provided school uniforms to over 800 children in the past years. For the children in Kasigau primary school is free except for the cost of a uniform, which is still too great a burden for some parents
Sponsor A Child
In conversation with our project leader Newton and the local community we found out that there are families unable to pay for high school education. With support of the Kasigau sponsors (for which our gratitude is huge) we have been able to give a scholarship to many children which allowed them to go to school.
Build Your Future
Two years ago we started a new long term project called “Build Your Future”. The project connects well with our ”Sponsor a child project” and the goal is to give our high school students the chance to apply for a sponsorship for further education.

Dedicated to change
In the beginning our tanks were serving the basic necessities of life: to be able to drink, cook and wash. Luckily we see that the locals are handling the water with care and saving it in the tanks. As a result, the water supplies are used very cleverly to grow crops as well. During our last visit we met this proud couple who can now grow and sell a lot of corn, bananas, mango, avocados and papayas on the market thanks to the water tanks donated by the Kasigau Foundation
